General Inpatient Care
General inpatient care is typically for treating symptoms that cannot be managed through home care. General inpatient hospice care is usually short-term and can be provided in a few different places. Sometimes, it is provided in the hospice unit of a hospital. It can also be provided in a long-term care residence. For many patients and their families, the most peaceful setting for this type of hospice care is in a free-standing hospice facility.
What Symptoms May Require General Inpatient Care?
Symptoms that may require general inpatient care include unrelieved severe pain, severe nausea, and vomiting, severe shortness of breath, anxiety or panic attacks. With General Inpatient Care our nurses are available around the clock to administer medications, implement treatments, and provide emotional support to make the patient more comfortable.

Hospice is covered by Medicare and Medicaid and most private insurance companies. Since Holy Saver Hospice, Inc. accepts Medicare and Medicaid as coverage for hospice care, there are no out-of-pocket expenses for eligible patients or their loved ones.
